Principal's Welcome

It is my great pleasure, as the new Principal of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, to warmly welcome you to our school community.

On behalf of our directors, governors, staff and pupils, I am delighted that you are visiting our website. I hope it provides you with a glimpse into the nurturing, faith-filled environment that makes St Joseph’s such a special place to learn, grow and thrive.

As I join St Joseph’s, I feel privileged to become part of a school community with such a strong Catholic tradition and commitment to excellence. Guided by our mission statement:

"Following St Joseph, we grow closer to Jesus through our hard work, perseverance and kindness,"

we strive to ensure that every child is known, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our faith is at the heart of everything we do, shaping not only our learning but also the way we care for and support one another.

St Joseph’s is unique as the only Catholic primary school serving the historic town of Droitwich. We are fortunate to benefit from extensive grounds, including two dedicated Forest School sites, which provide wonderful opportunities for outdoor learning, exploration and personal development.

As part of the Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company, we are committed to providing a rich and inspiring education that balances the rigour of the National Curriculum with creativity, memorable experiences and opportunities for every child to flourish. Many of our pupils continue their Catholic education at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College in Worcester or Hagley Catholic High School.

I am excited to lead St Joseph’s into its next chapter, building on the school's many strengths while working closely with pupils, parents, staff, governors and the wider parish community. Together, we will continue to ensure that St Joseph’s remains a place where children develop a love of learning, a strong sense of faith and the confidence to make a positive difference in the world.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I look forward to welcoming you and your family to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
